Hunter and Jillian Norton

If you’re from Arroyo Grande, California, then you know that the roots run deep and that the friendships are raw and deeply valued. Community is what I think of when I think of home. Jillian and Hunter are both from the same hometown as Greg and I, Arroyo Grande, California. Jillian and I have been friends since we were 13 years old (I’m 30 years old now so you can do the math!) I am so thankful that we both ended up in the D.C. area.

I love having a friend with such great memories together. It’s knowing that when you’re telling a story they know exactly what you are talking about. You don’t have to explain yourself or your history to someone from your home. You can just be and enjoy your time together.

I had the honor to capture Jillian and Hunter for their Christmas card this year. It’s never a dull moment with Jillian and Hunter. They have both become my friends and I truly enjoy my time with them!

We made our way over to Moose Apple Christmas Tree Farm, and it did not disappoint. The views were amazing, and it was truly a breath of fresh air! They have a cute little Christmas shop, and the people are so friendly!

I had a great time with the Nortons! I am so glad to have reconnected with them! Much love to you, Jillian and Hunter! It’s always an honor to photograph you both!

xoxo
